This service is available to everyone living or working in Glasgow.

Opening Hours

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Extended Opening Hours

 Thursday evenings - 4pm - 6.45pm

Appointments Available

Appointments are available Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm.

Drop In Service Details

Monday 11am - 4pm - General drop-in: any legal topic

Tuesday 11am - 2pm - Prevention of homelessness (cases calling at court next day)

Wednesday 9.30am-1.30pm - Advice desk and representation at Glasgow Sheriff Court Eviction Court.

Wednesday 10am - 12.30pm - Refugee, asylum seeking and migrant women (any age) and young people (25 and under)

Wednesday 11am - 1pm - Prevention of homelessness

Thursday 11am-1pm - Specialist street homelessness

Thursday 4pm - 6.45pm - General (holistic LSA and Glasgow Central CAB service)

Friday 9.30am - Advice desk and representation at Glasgow Sheriff Court "Repossessions" court for defended mortgage cases.

Friday 11am - 2pm - Prevention of homelessness.

 LSA focus on many aspects of the law and human rights including:

  1. Housing and preventing homelessness
  2. Defended eviction and mortgage repossesion cases
  3. Protecting the rights of asylum seekers, refugee and migrant women and young people
  4. Advice and representation for young people from abroad
  5. Rights relating to incapacity law, mental health, dementia and acquired brain injury.
  6. Criminal injuries compensation, employment law and social welfare law.
