Provision of information, advice and assistance in a wide range of areas including welfare benefits, money advice, housing, employment, consumer, relationships, legal. Provision of formal representation at Social Security Appeals, Sheriff Court (evictions) etc. Clients of the bureau also have access where appropriate to solicitors who have expertise in social welfare law, housing and public law.

Note: Access to solicitor services is only available following an interview with an advice worker to assess the appropriateness of a referral.

Mon - Fri  9am - 5pm

First Saturday of the month 10am - 1pm

Extended Opening Hours

First Saturday of the month 10am - 1pm (appointments)

Tuesday 9:00am - 3:30pm

Thursday 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Friday 9:00am - 3:30pm

 

Emergency appointments available throughout the working week Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm

Telephone Advice Details

Message Line - advising of hours of service, facility to leave a message if the client has an ongoing case and an alternative bureau telephone number for appointments or if in emergency situation.

No telephone advice available, message on phone to contact GAIN line if information only is required.
