Redundancy

If you’re at risk of job loss or going through redundancy the Money Advice Service has guidance to help you understand your rights, stay in control of your finances and move forward. Check out information on redundancy here or have a look at the Redundancy Handbook.

There are lots to things to think about if you have been made redundant. Citizens Advice Scotland’s Advice Guide is a useful source of information if you would like to check what your rights are and what procedures must be followed if you are made redundant.

If you would like to speak to someone about money worries after losing your job you can contact a GAIN adviser for advice.
